I realized I was so excited to post the newborn images, that I neglected to post some images from their maternity shoot. Here are a couple from the fantastic L family! I hear Big Brother is finally settling into his role :)

A Love Story

Usually when I receive a call from the hospital I have to prepare myself for the sadness and emotions that come along with a NILMDTS call. But I was pleasantly surprised Sunday when the call from a local hospital was much different. The hospital had a family that was adopting a newborn and they wanted newborn pictures that the birth mother could be a part of. There was so much love from both the birth mother and the adoptive parents for this little girl. It was such an honor to be able to create these special images for a truly special family. Meet the three day old little sweet pea! Look at all that hair!

Much awaited addition

I love when things come full circle. This precious little boy has an amazing big brother, as you can see from the pictures here. Big brother was my first newborn several years ago, so I was especially honored to continue the tradition and watch this little on be a star! And that he was. He slept almost the entire session. Meet Cooper!

The early bird gets the worm . . . or at least something checked off the "To Do" list

I've had the earliest Christmas card order yet this last month. Way to be on top of it!
